GUARANTEE OF TRANSMISSION UNIT

The Companies Service Exchange Transmissions are Guaranteed unless otherwise stated for a period of 12 Months or 12,000 miles, whichever is soonest, subject to the following :

1. That the unit is not attached to any vehicle with defective parts that could cause damage to the said unit (fair wear & tear accepted), or used in a manner that would cause rapid deterioration of the unit or any part therein, also that it is lubricated in the correct manner.

2. Normal after fitting procedures on installing transmissions: must ensure that the correct type of oil is used (see handbook etc), re-checking the oil levels and for oil leaks when hot after a 5-10 mile run: service oil checks at intervals of 6 months/6,000 miles, as our guarantee does not cover against damage to transmission units, due to low or no oil.

3. All electronic ancillary parts in/on transmissions are not covered by our guarantee.

4. Unit repairs of a specific nature are guaranteed only in relation to the actual work carried out, unless otherwise stated, for 25% of the normal guarantee period.

5. All commercial Industrial units plus Automatic transmissions sold without torque converters carry a reduced guarantee period of 50% of normal period, unless otherwise stated.

6. All parts/materials bought-in by us, sold loose or to fit, are not covered by our guarantee, but their suppliers/manufacturers guarantee conditions only.

7. All A & M GEARBOX SERVICES LIMITED OWN products are rebuilt to our own standard and specifications and it is not implied that these will conform to those of the original manufacturer.

8. All manufacturer's names, numbers and descriptions are for reference purposes only and their use does not imply that any part listed is the product of these manufacturers.

9. No liability whatsoever is accepted in respect of consequential loss, damage nor liability however caused nor in respect of additional costs or expenses incurred by a buyer or user arising directly or indirectly from any such defect, breakage or failure where such defect, breakage or failure is due to circumstances beyond our control. Should a product become defective due to faulty components or workmanship during the period of the warranty, the Company will repair or replace the product at their expense. However, the warranty does not cover towing or fitting charges, or loss of earnings, or any other consequential losses. In the event of the product becoming defective during the warranty period you should immediately contact the company to determine what action is necessary.

10. A & M GEARBOX SERVICES LIMITED reserve the right to alter specifications, prices and conditions at any time without prior notice.

11. The property in the goods shall only pass to the purchaser when the full total price has been received by the seller.

12. Purchase is acceptance of guarantee condition.
