PRICING

We list below sub-headings of the pricing policy of the services etc, which we can offer you, with some samples of prices. All prices are plus VAT.

TRANSMISSION TYPES

Due to the large array of transmissions fitted into various types of vehicles and the complicated electronic and mechanical systems used within modern vehicles, I would advise you to contact us with the relevant information pertaining to your vehicle that will enable us to provide you with an accurate price and availability of any given transmission unit required.

Prices quoted are for service exchange units, the exchange unit must be re-serviceable (un-serviceable being burnt-out/broken case etc), or a surcharge could be incurred. Where the customer wants a repair carried out, or there is not an exchange unit available, then a fixed labour menu price will be quoted, plus parts etc., giving the customer the choice of a specific repair or a full service repair option with the obvious choice in price/warranty.

REMOVE AND INSTALL

There is a fixed labour charge menu for the removal/installation, other than auxiliary parts and oils etc, and on rare occasions where extra time is spent due to breakages/seizures and the like, the customer would be advised of any extra costs incurred, before continuing with the work.

PARTS

Parts purchased by us, sold loose or fitted by us, are not covered by our Guarantee, but the suppliers/manufacturers guarantee conditions only.

DELIVERY SERVICE

We also offer a FREE collection service for loose units, or the vehicle itself if fitting is required, within a 5 mile radius of the local branch.

TRADE DISCOUNT

Only given with official trade orders, but only for cars and light van exchange units (based on car models), have a standard discount of 10%, subject to the old unit being re-serviceable. Commercial exchange units are normally quoted at the trade price, because they are trade vehicles. Further discounts are negotiable on volume, turnover and prompt account settlement.
